45 degree high helix angle endmills. these endmills are custom made for us. after much testing of cutters over a few years
pretty excited to be able to sell these finally
they are high helix so they cut a lot cleaner. and they have been sharpened really sharp.
The coating allows 25 percent higher speeds than the other coatings I have used
this endmill is my personal favourite

and we use them on our two chevalier cnc mills all the time. they are the go to endmill for steel and stainless steel.

start here and adjust to suit. these work pretty good on a 6 ton cnc mill.
VCC 160m/min (work out rpm for dia of cutter you are using)
feedrate for 10mm dia cutter
slotting 0.03
roughing with 10% side cut full depth 0.09mm per tooth
feedrate for 6mm dia cutter
slotting 0.018
roughing with 10% side cut full depth 0.06mm per tooth
